Pembe Hayat LGBTİ+ Dayanışma Derneği is relaunching its English Speaking Club in 2026 — a safe space where lubunyas can practice English and socialize together.
The first meeting will take place on Sunday, March 1, 2026, between 13:00 and 15:00. The club will be facilitated by language specialist and translator Şebnem, together with the association’s psychological counselor Alper.
The English Speaking Club is designed especially for trans and LGBTI+ individuals who may face barriers in accessing language education due to discrimination, phobias, and economic difficulties. The club is planned at a beginner level, and language level will not be a barrier to participation. Beginners and participants with low-level English are welcome.
All conversations and activities during the event will be translated into Turkish to ensure accessibility for everyone.
